Red Rock Canyon is a California State Park. It is in the desert and it is really pretty and it is only 80 miles north of LA, but honestly I didn't even know it was existing until two weeks ago. I found out about it, reading by mistake the travel section of the LA TIMES. the pictures were definitely nice sowe decided to go camping and hiking this weekend. The park is really wonderful. And also the hike is a lot of fun, especially because there are not many people around, so you can really enjoy the beauty of the desert ...
