AND NOW ... FULL SPEED NOOOORTH!

... OK ... now I am ready ... really ready to head NORTH ... kind of tired of all this END OF WORLD hype ... everything down here is about the END OF WORLD ... which is OK for 1 day ... but after 3 days it is a little bit too much ... at least for me ... of course the distances from the rest of places in our small planet are pretty impressive ... look at this sign ... mmm ... yep ... everything from here is terribly far away ... and this means it will take, for me, forever to get anywhere ... tomorrow morning ... actually in 4 hours I will take a 20 hours bus ride to EL CALAFATE ... the closest town to what is supposed to be one of the highlights of my trip ... one of the most impressive and accessible glaciers in the entire world ... EL PERITO MORENO ... I will get there around 2AM the day after ... ehehe ... 20 hours bus ride ... funny ... but definitely tiring ... and because I am really afraid not to wake up on time ... I have decided not to go to sleep tonite ... so far ... I have been pretty lucky because I have found the perfect buddies for the first part of the nite ... the dinner and the drinks ... these are my new french friends from the hostel ... Patricia, Jacque, Yo and Jean Claude ...

... OK ... before you will wonder ... we didn't discuss at all about the last Football World Cup ... and all that Zidane - Materazzi story ... OLD STUFF ... and here is Patricia going a little bit crazy with my sunglasses ... ehehe ... the picture is pretty funny ... but definitely she is even funnier ...

... mmm ... what else ... yep ... some other pictures from USHUAIA I took today ... good memories of this day ... this is the lunch I had with Thomas and Sandra ... and this picture means a lot to me ... because just few minutes before this picture was taken ... discussing with them about how much I love to travel ... I convinced myself that I can take a sabbatic year in the very near future ... being realistic I think it will be possible for me to take it in the year 2008 ... after 9 year of work ... I think it makes sense ... ehehe ... and now the funny part ... I need to tell it to my boss ...

... and ... yes ... continuing with the hype ... this is the last sunset from LA FIN DEL MUNDO ... from tomorrow the days will be shorter for me ... and I won't have anymore the sunset at 9PM ... a pity ... I love these long days ...
