... left PUERTO NATALES ... we went to the TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK ... in my case with my sprain ankle ... I should say Torres del Pain ... :D ... incredible park ... difficult to describe it ... I guess the best way is to show you a pictures de los cinco amigos ... Kim, Pedro, myself, Laura and Jeff ... on the way to the park ... totally excited ...
... the over-exposure of the picture is totally not planned ... but I guess it is perfect to describe our euphoria ... and believe me ... the pampa is really incredible .. such open spaces ... can just make you dream ... you feel that your place is right there ... and you can't really think that you have to go back soon to an office cubicle ...
... and here some of the local wildlife ... that we found in our almost 4 hours drive ... really nice ... we saw also a fox ... but it was too far away ... and incredible birds ... difficult to take pictures of them ... with my 3x zoom camera ... :D ...
... and here the mountains ... and the lakes and the waterfalls that made of this place one of the best places to hike in South America ...
... and of course the road was really superdusty ... but ... even if we did eat so much dust ... and ... I have never seen a car with so much dust inside and outside after only 2 days driving ... but it was definitely wothwhile ... where can you find such classic bridges or a guy building the road just in front of you ... :O ...
... mmmm ... what else ... yes ... we left Jeff, Laura and Pedro for their 4 days hike ... too much for my ankle ... so Kim and I did continue the trip together ... and this one of the things that I love the most about backpacking ... you meet these guys and after 1 day ... you do feel like they are part of you ... like your best friends back home ... almost like you know them since ages ... and this is exactly what I felt with these new friends ... you would like to carry them with you ... but you can't really ... so you committ to meet in someother incredible destination on this planet ... Fiji ... Australia ... New Zealand ... Portugal ... and you know that it will happen ... you just need to wait .. but it will happen ... :D
